Lynn had a parade this past weekend saluting the veterans of all wars.  Participants ranged from teenaged JROTC members to old codgers from WWII.

 

 

There were several Revolutionary and Civil War re-enactors as well.

 



Is there any way better to spend a beautiful August day than in a garden in full summer bloom?  This is the garden at the Ropes Mansion in Salem, MA.
